Learning Modules

Peggy Lukken created an effective learning module for our nursing faculty and students regarding patient conflict including specific tools and simulation exercises. Peggy was fantastic to work with because she was able to create a learning module that crossed over into other health care fields such as Medical Office Technology and Emergency Services that could be shared with fellow allied health faculty.  The materials created gave specific triggers to patient conflicts and effective tools to "lower the intensity" of the conflict and ultimately provide better patient care.  I would strongly recommend her and her materials for any health care or customer service focused training. ~ Maggie LaRose, Nurse Training Coordinator

Workshops

What a valuable service! Last year Peggy came to my program, which deals with former offenders. These individuals can be hard to teach because many of them are fresh out of prison and have a difficult time adjusting to the outside world. It was wonderful to see Peggy in action. She was able to build a trust with our population that usually takes instructors weeks to build. They loved the material that was presented and I have seen them actually use some of the skills they were taught.
