Our Story

As Peggy Lukken went through her training and entered the field of dispute resolution, she began to see a need for something more than just conflict management.

  • What can be done to avoid or mitigate conflict?

  • How can individuals and companies be supported in their efforts to be proactive in creating processes to prevent conflict and positively engage in conflict when it does happen?

  • How can the perception of conflict be shifted from something negative that should be avoided to a positive perception of conflict as a natural consequence of human interaction and growth?

Make no mistake, conflict is inevitable. It is how we face and handle conflict that dictates whether it is hurtful or helpful. Simply reacting to conflict with reluctant participation in dispute resolution is often counterproductive. Conflict can be planned for, prepared for, and dealt with in positive ways that encourage future interactions, growth, and development. Progressive Conflict Solutions was created to help companies deal with the inevitable.
